[QUOTE=category4;636784]You can also listen online at RadioReference.com - Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

There are several apps where you can use this site with some of the smart phones to listen in while you are in the car. This is what I used on my iphone before Gwinnett went dark.

I was using the iphone in this video.

Thank you so much for this! This was awesome and I had no idea this site exsisted! Do you know if you can still get apps to listen to scanners?

Then the best jammers you can afford. A scanner is the last and most expensive and the hardest to learn to use.
Have a Bel GX65, Blinder M47 and the Veil goes on the lights this weekend. Run Trapster on my Windows Mobile phone religiously. Purchasing a Uniden Pro520xl cb online tonight.
I think you will impressed with the Uniden 520xl, I wasn't expecting much for $60 but it was the only CB that would fit in my car. It turned out to be a really nice CB sounds good, and transmits well. I also have a Wilson Lil-Will antenna to go with it. I bought mine from Sparky's and he tunes them for free if you buy them from him new, I think he did a good job with my 520xl.

Been running the 520XL for a about a week after tuning the antenna SWR. I like the radio but frankly what's on the air leaves a lot to be desired. Some drunk is on the air every day, all day, cussing at the truckers, playing music and being a general a-hole. He's obviously running an outlaw rig because I pick him up everywhere! Seems that the truckers around here go silent - perhaps its because this a-hole has gained a reputation.

There is a guy just like that where I live, you can hear him all over town but he actually helps the truckers everyday with directions. He calls himself the Lost and Found. Most of the stuff on the CB is garbage, but when out on the highway if the truckers see a cop they seem to be pretty good about warning the other truckers. Is nice to know there is a cop pulling people over 15 miles ahead of you. For a $100 countermeasure it's defiantly worth it, and it seems to be really effective against stationary I/O traps on the interstate. And I just like electronic gadgets in my car I hope my car looks like this one day.

I'm getting close, but I think I'm running out of room in my Elantra.

    Nice set up.
How did you manage to fit a full size C.B in there?
Is that the 29/nw/wx? I have one and it's held on by Velcro (only in the car when I am on trips).
What is that on the dash above the steering wheel and to the right of the wheel by the vent? The other is a Garmin right?
