Default car stereo shop or cb shop for install (atl area)?

So thanks to the good recommendations from people here I finally have in my possession a peaked+tuned 520xl and a larsen antenna+mount. Now I just need to get it in my car.

The only thing I have installed before is a hardwire for a detector, and the cb install seems more complicated - namely I want to get the power from the battery (with the proper fuses wired in) instead of with an add-a-circuit, and the pl-259 that came with the antenna is the type that needs to be soldered on, according to the place I got it from, and I have next to zero experience with soldering.

I have called a few random car stereo shops about installing it and they said stuff like "Wow, a cb huh? We haven't done those in a long time...but I guess we can do it", which doesnt exactly make me confident in them.

Anyone have any first-hand experence with shops doing cb installs in the atl/north-ga area? Am I better off just going to a cb-shop at any big truck stop?

    Thanks for the help.

Thanks - I know there is one at exit 160 too, I just don't know yet if they do car installs. Have you dealt with the ones you mentioned / recommend one over the other?

Never used them, but I'm sure they will do a car install. Just have to check them out and see which one you like.

The truckers seem to like the guy at 166, but I have only heard a few talking about either.
