    Default A Good CB?

Guys I know VERY LITTLE about CB's and I am wondering what is a good handheld CB that I can pair up with a Wilson 1000 CB antenna? Right now i am looking at the two Cobra models but is there one that WAS or IS the best. All I am going to be doing is monitoring channel 19 and transmitting (warning others of traps).
RIP Duncan my BELOVED black lab son 8/7/99-3/23/11. I will miss you DEARLY.

Rob 'CrazyVolvoRob' is the expert on CBs, let's hear his take on this subject as myself looking for a good, reliable CB...
I think he's using this CB and a very similar CB antenna:

Prices are in C$, the store is located in Toronto area, for sure you can get all these products way cheaper in the States... and no damn 15% sales tax...

Why a handheld? If space is an issue try a Cobra 75WX-ST if you don't have room for a base unit, that's what I use in the F-bods...

Well I found my dad's old GE 3-5804F CB. Looks like a SOLID built one! I will try it to see. Here are the features on it:

Compact 40 Channel Mobile CB Transceiver
    Built -in MIC Pre-amp
    Built-in ANL (Automatic Noise Limiter)
    Backlighted S/RF Meter
    P.A. (Public Address) capability
