Shoulda posted this a few hours ago, it's too dark now :x

I'm pretty proud of my setup, I took my 40-channel Realistic and a "cubby" that came in the Saab 900 without the graphic equalizer (Saab P/N 97 14 817 but I just pulled one out of my stash). I pulled out my equalizer and the basket, cut a hole in the cubby with a dremel, drilled a hole in the side, stuck in the CB, screwed in the thumbscrew in the hole, fits and looks very professional.

ill get pics of mine next week cuz im re-doing my antenna set up. im ditching the window mount and what im doing is...- ive got two trunk lip cb antenna mounts coming. now i know your prob saying "but youve got an SUV, you aint got a truck" and your right i dont, but on the very top of the back hatch it is flat enough to put the mounts up there just like a regular trunk. then i have 2 black 4ft Firestik antennas coming, i have a CoPhase box so i can use both antennas together, then run the rest of the coax to the cb and im done. and yes yall prob thinks it going to look retarded but im am a redneck and i like that kind of stuff .

P.S. cVr or anyone, does anyone know a good way to undo silicon? cuz i had to put some around the exterior part of the window mount antenna so it didnt get water damage. also, do you just rip the antenna mounts off after i get the silicon off? or is there a special process? Thanks.

I am ready to post pics up of my setup here in the office at my house but let me tell you my desk is a mess. I kinda like it that way. I seem to know where everything is in this mess. So, when I get it cleaned up I will take a pic and post it.

I am not that good at doing pictures so here is my scanner set up.

Does it matter what kind of CB you have? I was looking at one sold at radio shack. It's a 40-Channel TRC521 CB Radio . Sorry I don't know much about CB's. Are CB's like radar detectors....you pay for what you get?
