A LIDAR gun isn't a handheld RADAR gun.
I always wondered why CSP would have the antenna on roof of their car (usually mounted behind the driver's door).

Like I said, I don't think you read my post very well. :)
There aren't that many AM Vantages on the road (at least not here in Georgia).
Ha! I prefer them using LIDAR. At least I can have a chance of defeating that.
I think you just glanced at my post instead of actually reading it. ;)
Never been pulled over in my BMW 535i (hopefully didn't jinx myself). Jammed quite a few lasers and got some constant and I/O warnings (from people being shot ahead of me) that saved me.
Been...
Hopefully it fixed the infamous "POP alert" announcement when hit with LIDAR.
EDIT: This update isn't available yet when I looked. April Fool's I guess?
Thankfully Georgia requires a 10 mph grace buffer before a city or county police officer can ticket you (unless it's in a school/residential zone or he/she paces you). They also can't run RADAR...
$35 for 19 mph over the PSL? That's pretty steep! :D
Two young adults were killed and another seriously injured while trying to change a tire on I-185 above Columbus at 3am this weekend.
Why were they halfway in the travel lane though?!?
...
If I'm not mistaken, Georgia law requires all photos to be reviewed by someone. So they will probably see that you were in the intersection when it turned red as opposed to proceeding through it...
I have a little speed demon. (grin)
One of these days I'll post pics, but I'm afraid it'll only cause small town cops that read this board to recognize me. Don't want to draw any more attention...
If I get a $3500 ticket, that would be worth going to jail for. I'd beat the hell out of the cop or purchase a taser just to tase him for it.
No thank you. I'll keep my V8 Vantage!
How common are the stalkers? I'm guessing they're a lot more expensive than other radar devices.
Can both the front/rear antenna be active at the same time? I don't think so, but wanted some clarification from people who know a little more than me.
I believe so. I think there is an option to save the data file to a PC.
That's why I drive the speed limit in the Aston. ;)
I think MEM-TEK received some kind of legal threat from Escort and that's why he stopped posting. Nothing to back it up, but it's my theory.
Since I work in a trauma center, if I get a super speeder ticket, am I essentially paying myself? (I wish it worked that way.)
Instant Owned. I like that! (well, the term, not that you got a ticket!)
It's not illegal lane splitting if they are using their blue lights and siren. Emergency vehicles are allowed to do that.
With GSP publicly admitting that the unit is funded from ticket revenues,...
I couldn't find it either. Thought I read a newspaper article on it, but apparently not. Guess I'll find out for myself if I get elected. :)
It's an automatic court appearance in Georgia. GSP will nail you big time if they notice Veil on your headlights or taillights (they will pull you over primarily for it). They will pull you over...
I had a hit on I-75 one day and never could figure out where it came from. There wasn't an overpass that was nearby, and I didn't see a cop anywhere in sight. Got a front hit twice. I'm wondering...
