I need to fix the sensor attachment this weekend, but the basic placement (under the running lights spar) and wiring runs are final.

for newbies to the forum that get...
In the spirit of the forum (this is a jamming forum), you could always invest in a cheap paintball gun and shoot her cameras up. No permanent damage, but they wouldn't exactly be useful. If she...
Good idea. I wonder, though... you can't veil the visor without screwing up your vision, and some jerk LEO could target your face for a good reading.
Time to duck and weave, I guess. :D
Hm. I wonder if this is an issue with non-removables like 9500ci. That would sure suck.
Anyone with a 9500ci run into this? Not that I would drive my baby in that kind of climate without some...
Nah, it'll be a "parking assist device" :P
Stupid question: does Valentine do all their own sales? See them on eBay all the time, but I guess no warranty on those.
Not surprising. And I bet you could get into all sorts of interesting "communication opportunities" with the MPs if you were to try to measure freqs while near the base.
Yuk. You'd ruin the lines, I think, doing that.
The white-on-white is nice, man. Great install, too. :)
Not sure if you can get ticketed for that here in WA, unless it's that silly "reckless driving" statute we are so proud of. As in the one that can be interpreted to mean anything the LEO feels like...

If you are really paranoid, hook up a computer case fan to the 12v, too, and use it to vent the box....
Hence the posting in the forum.
I'm in the Kirkland / Redmond area, east of Seattle, and my kit is an Escort 8500 on an Atom 300, with an LI set due to arrive later this week.
At some point...
Hm, does an older 8500 count if it was $300 at the time?
Of course, if you have open windows and the LI turned up loud, the cop can hear it from pretty far away... ;-)
Jealous there aren't any X band guns there?
Thinking of going 9500ci myself. Anyhow, welcome.
Yup, same here. Gotta get to the arbitrary limit. I imagine it's because they can't get a good captcha, so it's to weed out bots.
Hey, I'm running an older 8500, and I was wondering if it's worth the coinage to upgrade to a 9500ci. The way I have my 8500 mounted has been bugging me, since it's pretty ghetto (inside the bubble...
8500 that's a few years old--but teetering on the edge of getting a 9500ci. Just as soon as I can convince the wife... :big_boss:
