LOLZ! This place tho:rolleyes:
I was kinda torn on whether to post this in the Spectre forum or in the local forum. Here is my best guess, and if I'm wrong...MODS please move to correct area.
Damn nearly soiled my boxers after...
SoOo...bottom line you will need 4 hardwire cords and 1 STi or magnum. Oh yA, save up for some LJ's. Arlington is 99% laser. prolite+ and PL3 all over the place.;)
IMO...the $100 illegal equipment ticket is better than a speeding ticket. I would only "really" worry about the RD in the southern part of VA. Once you start hitting Doswell, Richmond,...
F.O.P.= First On Pole...LOLZ!!!!!
yO...hook up the samich stikaZ!
Was wondering if anyone knew, now that the X50's have "40 percent" better detection range, does that make up for the slight edge the RX65 had over them on Ka detection?
Or does a RX65 in Ka USA...
well if you did fry one, they would repair it as part of the upgrade i believe...
i know all units are sent through testing after upgrading before shipping out to make sure the unit works like...
I just bought an RX65 too! should be here tomorrow(monday). Can't wait...already named him Bubba. Wanna see how well "he" performs against my STi.
Thanx to the radar gods for not having a spectre...

yO...me too! Just ordered 1 like 4 hours ago!
BTW...if the RX65 is supposed to be a better RD than the V995, why are they the same price @ Bel's site?
Thanx for the replies. crossing mah fingers, hoping I don't fry 1 of the LNA's. Cuz Im sending out my Sti to get re-flashed and come back as a Redline...er...Magnum. I SHALL DUB THEE "REDMAG" or...
Holy chEEzE! so they're "dumbing" down the Magnum so the Redline can have an advantage!? All the while an STi could have been a Redline, but they chose not to!?
Dude, I totally think that they did...
Been trying to wrap my head around this. I've been reading posts, and all sorts of fOOzed:confused:
Is the Magnum supposed to be on par with the Redline?...Just a Redline in Beltronics clothing? ...
What I've noticed helps is bending the bracket so it's a tight fit against your windshield. How much bend depends on the angle of your windshield. Belscort knows that the STi & Redline are heavy...
OH BoYEE.....and they're off!:confused::p;):o:cool:
seriously tho...mount high
I am no expert by far, but "apparently" an over heated m3 platform will allow leakage through the LNA:confused:
Belscort advertises 2 LNA's in the m3's...but if MEMory serves me correct, aren't...
Recently sent my STi out for a tune-up. Thats all I was expecting. It came back with new suction cups, super cup, smart cord and "new casing"!!! Super big + on the CS. Bel!:D:o
:D
Lemme stop and think bout that...:D
I do vaguely remember a "certain" member posting a few years ago that if an m3 platform belscort got hot enough a fried or damaged LNA could leak.
Don't wanna post this "certain" members name,...
Sure its possible, just unlikely.
Its more likely than a Redline Conspiracy.[/QUOTE]
ok ok...maybe "conspiracy" was too strong of a word. But next to cobra, belscort are masters of marketing.
Hey brother...yA still breathing. now if i could only find a way to stop this over population issue the world is having:hmmmm2::p;)
Not trying to start a "Bash-scort" thread or anything like that. Just curious if anyone else has come across the same observations. I have no scientific means of measuring this, just "users"...
Great advice, Fritter. Will be committing this to memory.
On a side note- just from reading the title of this thread, am I the only one that thought Fritter bagged an escort user!?:w00t:
