Yes it will work fine in New Zealand NZ Police use Stalker DSR Radar Ka 34.7 which is made in the USA by applied concepts. It may not be so good at picking up the low powered speed cameras tho.

Get a jammer the laser interceptor looks great.
Maybe Neltronics knows the answer I will e-mail them for an answer.
When i said instant on i really meant Quick trigger.
Now back to my theory on the Beltronics STi Magnum XR I think it's segmented on and K Band & Ka band so it only scans for radar used in...

My understanding is that Escort/Beltronics can tune the detector , to ignore the signals that come from lane guidance systems.
It might be worth your while to investigate this just an idear.

Radar Detectors are very legal in New Zealand however , there was talk of them being outlawed so that was just one of the reasons i went with the magnum. The other reason is i like the Beltronics...

Why the ix? The unfiltered Redline will have about twice the detection range of the ix. The alarm speed of the filtered ix is very very slow which gives the Leo a great tracking record for a ticket....
Based on what you have told us i would go with the Escort Passport 9500Ix
and yes if your happy with your Beltronics STi driver i would stick with it.
