Glad you got it figured out. Enjoy. :-)
Go to the Whistler Website - click on the FIND DOWNLOADS tab/ click n Radar Detectors/ select the "R" or "S" version of your CR90 and save the RLC data to your desktop. Open the PC program click on...
Call whistler at 800-531-0004.
You can call Whistler (800-531-0004) and they will send you speaker.
Not exactly fair. He would need to compare it with friends that have the Rev C platform Whistlers to really tell how ts working.
I just checked (6-14-13) and Whistler has a bunch of new units on the website.
Not completely true. Reviewing speedzones RDD tests Whistler's were not detected by VG-2 or Spectre units.
YOu can look into a Pro-68SE (no a regulare Pro-68)
I noticed it also lists 2 Filter modes similiar to the Pro-78, it looks like it has a couple of features over the XTR-555.
Like the Zebra Tune on the radio in the background! ;-)
I"m kind of with Michael B on this one. Give another option. Like he said, if DJ could go to VG's area and VG to DJ's area with the units they currently have and see what the results are then they...
I used it on a long trip to a car club convention. It was like midnight or so and i was dozing off and loud music didn't help so I turned on Stay alert and every 30 to 40 or so seconds the unit beeps...
Whistler had that in the XTR-560 i think, it also had custom text messages too. This was like 3 or so years ago.
let us know which filter or other settings work the best for you!
Are you sure VG-2 was just turned on and not reporting VG-2?
Didn't I read somewhere that with TSR on you have a good chance of not picking up K I/O?
Hey TRUn just saw some of your videos on youtube. That video of "5 miles of K band nonsense" is basically what I deal with everyday, 6 days a week on one stretch of the I10 in california. Quite...
DIdn't know that Whistler has different warranties for different prices? The 3600 has a 5 year warranty is what is on mine.
Thanks Michael, I'm going to stick with the whistler and get the 3600! I like the expandable options. Right now they don't have Red light cameras in my area but if they do i can just order the GPS...
CAn't go wrong for $20!
Looking into getting one - i see that they're out and some of you have them which is cool, but i haven't seen any more posts about it. Enlighten me! :p:cool:
Yes...That is the only way.[/QUOTE]
Not quite, I read the manual and if you have the optional GPS unit, the auto quiet function can be set with a certain speed and that will lower your volume....
Looks like someone is trying to be funny :p
Nothing new for this model, if you look at Whistler's other remotes, they had 5 year warranty too.
Can't wait to see one in person.
Guys, i think we've rode this horse to death already. Can we just put up a stickie for a list of improvements with a comment on why its needed and call it a day? Get the same "point - counter point"...
