    BTW, only the state cops in PA use radar. Just about any non GPS RD will be annoying and therefore useless in the city. Keep only K and KA band on in PA, turn on all bands when in NJ.

    What do you consider affordable? Beltronics Vector 985 or 955 is pretty good bang for the buck on K band. I would recommend the Valentine 1 in PA, it should serve you well, if you can afford it.

    Instant on K will be your biggest threat by far, followed by CO K, then IO KA, and CO KA. Turn off X and laser.

    Slightly better than my 3.813 with POP on. K band is slightly better, high end cars still set off laser, cant comment on KA or X.

    I should also add the the PSP on the turnpike are really good at shooting IO. They must be trained better than the cops that shoot radar on the interstate. Those cops seem to shoot sloppy instant on...

    Yes, most definitely they use IO. Watch out for KA too.
