    If it only plugged into the audio port on the belscorts, how would the mirror get info about what band it was picking up? Wouldn't the output signal only contain info on which sound to produce?

    Do you plug your detector into some sort of interface that then converts the alerts from the rd into a wireless signal that the mirror than picks up? Does that interface also power the rd?
