Does anyone know if blindspot radar (the thing that warns you if there is another car in the blindspot) would cause interference with an STI-R Plus?

Does anyone know if blindspot radar (the thing that warns you if there is another car in the blindspot) would cause interference with an STI-R Plus?
Have you seen any difference in performance?
Also do they really use the same radar antenna?
Category 4 tested mine also and it was JTG in his test against 3 guns (don't remember which). And I remain ticket free 18 months later - despite the fact that I'm not a PSL+10 pussy like some of you...
The only thing wrong with that install is that it is a 9500ci. My LI Quad is mounted in same locations on the front and my car is JTG.
I cut the radar antenna through the grille, which this guy...
We should encourage Canada to just put 55mph speed limiters in all their cars, and then offer green cards to their best and brightest citizens. Let the morons that get left behind pontificate about...
Mike doesn't need to worry. He can continue to sell the same radar for years. At least half the people on this board, and three-quarters of the people on the BMW and Porsche boards buy V1 without...
I'm glad to hear that you've addressed the headlight issues.
For the record I applied Veil to a brand new Lexus, straight of the boat from Japan. So it wasn't weathered headlights.
I share...
I don't know why people bother with this stuff. It's better to get an LI and be done with it. Even if it doesn't damage the paint, it will damage non-glass headlights. I had to wet sand my...
Thats not a Lidar save. It may be a KA save, but a Lidar save.
You said you picked up Lidar while doing 73-74 in a 70. That means he read your speed and determined you weren't going fast enough...
Yes, i will most likley put the shifters to receive only mode until i conferm they dont interfear having them both on.
Receave mode wont interfear.
I run the same setup, except my LIs...
Only on Infiniti. Mercedes and Lexus use radar
That's why I would shed no tears if a vigilante group chose to target these people with violence and retribution. I'm not condoning that, I'm just saying it wouldn't be a bad thing.
Agree. I also hope people cancel their subscription to that communist rag.
RDs scan through the bands, so the more bands you eliminate as unnecessary, the faster it will work. Most of us switch off SWS (unnecessary since it has nothing to do with speed enforcement), X band...
I find the rear detection range to be significantly less than the forward detection range.
I didn't know you could record your own alerts. Get some babe with a hot Australian accent.
boooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like you and I will have to organize a S. Florida test. Know who might be able to bring lidar guns?
The 9500ix doesn;t block out alerts until after the third pass. So it was probably filtering the stores based on auto mode.
Here is how I set up my 9500ci:
1) Run it in highway mode all the...
So when will Escort launch a new 9500ci with separate front and rear antennae and directional warnings?
I've noticed more people at TeamSpeed are beginning to buy competing detectors, you guys...
Adding fuel to a self fulfilling prophecy...uhh, i mean rumor! LOL!
Yeah. And also Escort is going to team up with Transformers to develop a Megan Fox hologram display which will point...
We could do the test on Star Island.
What's all this talk about VR joining forces with Whistler. Fantasy radar detector.
Yeah likewise. This was not a good weekend for me.
I wish we could split this test and do one in Miami and a separate one in Stuart.
Anyone want to do a test in Miami?
I am curious to see what the testing shows. I suspect that this is probably the best detector on the market right now. Pair it with LI Quad for a great 360 setup.
I think that between the Valentine patent expiring on the portable side, and the fact that the other famous custom installed detector now has separate front and rear radar antennas, there will be...
