yeah, i pick up those leaky cobras all the time on the highway.
so beltronics updates their products on a continual basis without really telling the customers?
got some info on this... it offers no rdd protection because since rd's are legal almost everywhere there isn't a need for this, and it's made specifically for mc use, it's not like a trucker would...
i always wave when it is safe to do so.
once in a while i would see the wave too late and couldn't wave back.
i don't get offended if they don't wave back.
cali cops near the nevada boarder are ruthless. they also have air planes catching speedsters so your detectors may not be too useful if you get caught by a plane. nevada cops are abundant...
so can you legally buy and sell radar detectors in virginia and dc?
anyone know which detector produces the least amount of interference signals? also, i heard that turning on vg2 would help reduce producing detector generated interences, anyone know if this is true?

asianfire,
interesting. maybe different microwaves would set off different detectors?
pretty damn sure about it. turned on my bel, walked up to the microwave, punch in a couple of minutes, couple of seconds later the detector goes off. turn the microwave off, detector stops beeping....
because wires suck.
my bel cordless goes off near a microwave that's turned on. bel 945.
anyone know what common household electronics would set off the better radar detectors out in the market? i know that the microwave will set off most low end stuff. thanks.
i was talking to a friend today about radar detectors and he mentioned how he got a ticket with his passport not too long ago. he had it on, mounted in his car, and was driving on the freeway. said...
isn't that ka band?
i think you'll still be able to hear it with your headphones on if it's not in full blast.
yeah, i got my hands on one but i'm not using it now.
the thing is loud, nearly blew my ear drums off when i was testing it.
in terms of hearing it, it works really well. i tested it on my...
