Re: Are New Car Sensors Ruining Your V1?

Just bought a new V1 a few days ago and am selling the old one on ebay (it is already up to $255); so this seems like a better deal than paying $289 just to upgrade it. I'm glad I did... seems to be...

Re: Are New Car Sensors Ruining Your V1?

The frequent false alarms caused by new features in new cars (blind spot monitors, adaptive cruise control, etc) is destroying my experience with the V1. On a decently crowded highway it falsest all...

    First PSP Detected

Well, gave her the detector yesterday and she already picked up a PSP using K band with it. Don't have too many details, but she said it gave her plenty of time to slow down.

    Way to go for a...

Re: Cheap Whistler with Selectable Bands?

Got the XTR-265. It was probably the best one I could get for around $50, and I didn't want a cobra. Should be enough performance to pick up the PSP K Band 90% of the time, and for a mid/moderate...

Re: Cheap Whistler with Selectable Bands?

Yup, V1 helped me with that one on one particular occasion. PSP was hiding behind a K band sign. V1 said 2 radars. My friend was following me and ended up flying past me and getting the 86mph...

Re: Cheap Whistler with Selectable Bands?

Oh really... thats a big problem! Would not want the detector alerting to K band when X is around...

Do you know if the Pro-68SE has that problem?

    Re: PA Info Question

One time a cop tried to tell me mine was illegal. I told the cop that my traffic attorney told me it was legal (true). He asked me who my attorney was and I gave him the name and that was that.

Well, that kind of verdict should remove the financial incentive for those idiots to have a ticket quota.

Re: Supposed new undetectable radar gun

Isn't the Falcon HR the new radar gun the PSP is now using here and there? It is a lot harder to detect. My V1 still detects it but not nearly the range of any other radar gun.
