The slot between upper and lower grill is perfect fit for the heads but fabricating brackets took a little planning. I hope yoiu can see them in the pics. The switch and LED are mounted in a small...

    Re: Rabbit demo

Nice video! That's what I love about living in the western US, many miles of wide open roads where you can let your long-legged car get out and run. I made that run from St George to SLC a week ago,...

Hey Mike, I got my first LIDAR save today in W Jordan with my Escort Redline. LEO was sitting on the canal access road on 7000 S just east of 3200 W. I was westbound, got a laser alert after I...

Mike, I heard back from my UHP buddy. He didn't say what would happen other than.. "It is a Class C misdemeanor with a penalty of up to $1250.00.

Of course, first you have to get...

The "upside" is that the State screws private business out of the revenues. Utah is not the only state where the state runs the liquor stores. But hey at least we don't have any dry...

Typical emotional "feel good" crock o' crap argument with no scientific merit. The only control we over other idiots behind the wheel is defensive driving. Common sense goes a long way in all cases....

Nice catch Mike! Where on I-215 was the UHP car? Looks like you were making the turn from southbound to eastbound approaching Redwood Road.

    I live in West Jordan.

My UHP buddy (UHP 92 Davis Co)...

Re: Utah Highway Patrol - LIDAR

Yeah no doubt the warmer weather will bring out the LIDAR. My UHP buddy (UHP 92) said tickets depend on LEO's mood, driver's attitude, whether the speed was excessive for traffic and weather...

My girlfriend got a ticket just north of Beaver 2 weeks ago. She was doing 91 in a 75, they wrote her up for 10 over. Could have been worse. I'm putting the Pro-78SE in her car when I get the Redline.

Re: Utah Highway Patrol - LIDAR

My UHP buddy said most of the cars have a mounted radar unit running KA band which can be C/O or I/O. The Stalker Dual DSR is the most common. UHP does have LIDAR units as well. These are handheld...

Re: Utah Highway Patrol - LIDAR

Open Road, I don't think many UHP units have LIDAR but I'll ask my UHP buddy who works Davis County. I did run into the same thing a couple years ago on I-15 around American Fork or Lindon, UHP...
