Just did a camera location update on my GX65 and there also was a software update. Anyone know what was in this update?

Sent in because I would get a alert in ka band to full bars and it would stay in full bars even after the LEO was long gone, and sometimes I would get a ka band alert and only a two bars would show...

Sent my gx65 in for repair and got it back , everything seemed ok until I tried to do the weekly update. The detector would not go into usb mode and the detector tool said detector not connected ....

Called them about this and the GX65 is not included even though it says it is :confused:

I bought it when they first came out and really like. Went from a RX65 which I still have as a backup. Like the GPS, we don't have cameras in Minnesota but go to Colorado every summer so we will see...

Contacted Bel again and talked to Dan, he tried to reset my data base with no luck. he took my serial # key code and download subscription# and said he will keep checking into it. Called back this...

The way the rep. talked it would take care of it automatic. l'll be calling in the morning to hopefully find out what is up. Maybe there computers update later at night .

I'm sure they have the correct e-mail because I got Jan.and Feb weekly update e-mails. I Just don't get it .

For the last two weeks I did not recieve the weekly e-mail from Bell for the Gx65 updates ,anyone else have this issue
I also notice that the size of my data base stays at 260 bytes and each update...

When I download the new update for the GX65 I see there is a backup created on my computer . I only see one backup and that is for the date of the download. Should there be a back up for each...

I have had mine for a couple of weeks and really like it . The gps is great for blocking the false alerts. the back lit buttons are a cool also. I'm sure you will be pleased with it.

If you look at the specs. of the RX65 and the GX65 the GX65 is a little longer and a little thicker

I would like to get a new detector , I have a bel rx65 now and should I get the new escort 9500i or wait for bel to come out with somthing newer then the rx65 ( no need for the sti) ?

Anyone know if Minnesota uses POP radar? I have is turned off in my RX65 and was wondering if I need to turn it on
