  1. Re: (ECCTG) East Coast Countermeasure Testing Group test & tweak meet - Tri-State are

I got kicked off the list because I didn't wanna pay right then and there to "reserve my spot". Of course I'd contribute, but I'm on a student's budget living paycheck to paycheck. So yes, riptide,...

    Re: AC clutch problem

If it's the kind of squealing I'm thinking, it's an old belt. Check your tensioner and put a new belt on there.

    Re: Buying my car..HELP!!!

Learn to work on it yourself. Makes maintenance palatable, save a LOT of money. My 1000$+ timing belt job at the dealer was better done by myself at only 250$ for all the parts.

    Re: Buying my car..HELP!!!

  6. Poll: Re: Did you buy a radar detector or a laser jammer first

Huh, weird. I drive up and down 84 from NY all the way to manchester, and 95 all the time, occasionally 91 around hartford and I have NEVER picked up Ka on limited access highways in CT. Laser hits...

    Re: 94 & 100 Octane gasoline

Doesn't seem to be common...like everyone else said, 93 seems to be the norm. You might want to detune your car for the trip just so you don't have to later, since you probably won't find 94-100 here.

Also no more cop's face, might be a liability problem.

A camera and a high powered pulsed CO2 laser on an x-y turret, have the camera direct where the LIDAR ray is coming from, snap the co2 laser's aim on that, fire. No more gun lol

Re: Question for diesel truck owners

Worth a shot *shrug*. Maybe they don't want to put excessive wear on the glow plugs? I hear they're a ***** to replace at times.

  18. Re: Old School vs. New School detection capability

Buy a V1 and try it out, if you don't like it, go with a Redline. They both have their strengths and weaknesses, and you have to research and try them out to decide between the two on your own. I'm...

Definitely, definitely drop the transmission pan and drain out all the fluid, and change the filter. Goes a long way in extending the life of a tranny. You can fix part of an engine, but an automatic...

It's fine. I have mine running off of one, and I installed SaltyinNJ's stuff off of one as well. Just keep the inline fuses on.
