My local PD uses trakit gps avl. Pretty easy to hack.

Usely when I see a opticom being used and from my own expierence. They have a flasher next to the sensor that flashes to confirm its activated.

My dad is big into it. He prefers moonbounce/EME and SSB and CW. Going to conventions is fun alot of treasures. Alot of newbies stay on FM. FM is just like CB boring stuff.
