The AL will likely face the same fate as the LPP, which is virtual extinction in the US due to lack of support when inevitable issues come up with the hardware.
You don’t want to be the guy...
In the video with NO alert from the V1 until AFTER you passed the RADAR source, perhaps your close proximity to the truck in front of you had something to do with no alert beforehand.
RADAR...
Must of been a tough decision for her. Passing up enough money to buy a happy meal, a STD & get fired from her job...where's the downside?
LoL
I can think of 3 legit reasons though,.
1) Depending on where you are driving, +5 may be enough to get stopped. Example would be the butthole cops in much of Texas and some small inbreed...
Congrats, GREAT story on the 2nd save.
As far as mounting, perhaps I can clarify things a little bit. When trying to determine if the heads are too low, the missing variable here is position of...
Cool Vid.
A Cobra probably would have detected this....as he was being pulled over.
If you were behind a rabbit, then you can assume the rabbit was traveling at least as fast as you. You can also assume that the LEO likely targeted your rabbit before you.
Deductive reasoning...

Saulk Village: C/O K, I/O K
Chicago Heights: C/O Ka, K, ProLaser III LIDAR

I see, if you are in that situation, perhaps something like a Escort 8500 X50 or Beltronics Rx65 (Red display's) as examples wouldn't violate her budget limit but provide great protection. ...
LMAO.
Dont forget to update the GPS database on your V1. Ooops, sorry about that.
I kid, V1's are great. Be sure to get her a RD as good as what she bought you. The last thing you need is a...
I think it's because they are embarrassed by it so us "real" RD owners don't make fun of them LOL, pure speculation on my part though ;)[/QUOTE]
LoL, very nice piece of reasoning there.
Welcome. Good to see another Illinois resident that isn't willing to make involuntary donations to the state of Illinois.
LoL, this is a very reliable method.
On a serious note, I'd like to see a 2nd separate audible tone that is played ONLY while the heads are firing (2nd tone plays simultaneously with current...
Green laser pointers should not set off jammers.
If you need a tester, you can find handheld testers that emit the appropriate wavelength and pulsate to set off your jammer for 30 or 40 bucks.
x2. LPP works best when installed.
You may also want to make a small donation to your local donut shop, the LEO was probably double-fisting some glazed goodies causing him to take longer than...
There is truth to what you say.
The question however is what band of c/o would it not totally suck at? It picks up X band decent enough, and ok with K band if the RADAR source was being pointed...
If I were redesigning the heads, I would consider the following;
1) Explore changing the shape so they do not look like the typical jammer head, which is long, skinny, & consequently easily...
I am glad those cases worked out for you.
Putting aside using a RMR product to try and defend against police RADAR, This all sounds kind of odd.
Since contesting a traffic citation in court is not a criminal case, you are not innocent...
most states do not require the LEO to show you the speed reading, this probably is why they refused..
This is a well documented phenomenon with Cobra owner’s. Perhaps a documentary will be made to explain this one day.
But in the mean time, they will be rabbits for the rest of us, then we will...
LMAO
Ironically, the RD's performance remained the same while off as when it's turned on.
wow, what a A-hole.
There ought to be idiot sensors built into cars that causes them to self destruct & vaporize when these maneuvers are attempted.
X2
They don’t make them like that anymore. :)
Biggest problem I see with your ride is detecting the LIDAR beam at short range due to the wide front end & the narrow LIDAR beam not shinning...
