at that range the beam is small so no surprise your detector didn't go off. even if it did you're done anyway. it would just tell you that you were getting a ticket before the cop could turn his...
cleared off the "old" VEIL and reapplied today going with the same method The VEIL Guy used and it worked flawlessly.
:D
Went over this in another thread:

sweet, watch a pro in action!
You'd likely lose the multi-threat display. The RX65 can only display signal for one of each source while the X50 can display 2 K, 2 Ka, and 4 X.
smartcord comes standard but can be tough to conceal. might consider the smart cord/direct wire that will allow you to put the RD up high for easier concealment.
Thanks for the info, VTGT. Good to know! :D
Go to Target and get a pack of foam applicators in the home improvement section (with the paint brushes). Pack of 3 is like $2, you'll want to use the widest one.
that's precisely what I said on another page which you said was wrong. I was merely trying to tell you that I was not wrong. Here's the quote:
It's not true. Just tried both today. The RX65...
:?
If you don't have a "really fast car" why do you have a RD? You can still get a laser ticket w/o a "really fast car" just like you can with radar.
Azonehits: Go into your profile and enable BBCode. When you quote it other posts it's not formatting correctly. You can get there at this link:

Yes.
that's pretty slick. I grew up in NoVA and saw the signs but never noticed the planes. Been 10 years since I left there so maybe things have changed.
refund the difference or get it all back?
The RX65 is a great RD... kind of the "sleeper" of the three. I'd keep it, unless you prefer a feature of one over the other.
:D
I leave my X50 in Highway unless I'm in a city with a lot of X falses in which case I switch it to City (set on LoX). The few times I've used Auto I didn't quite like the response I got from it when...
OFF.
congrats, brick :D
:x :x :x :x :x
too funny
Nah.
No clear answer to that. At least with the rev # there's a definite way to do it!
Hold down City and Brt while powering it on. This will reset then detector to factory default settings and will display the version. It will only display it briefly so pay attention!
You can get a nice deal on the X50 (just ask!) and even nicer support by going through radarbusters.com. Plus it helps support the site.
