From my experience, the 'U' mode euro scans the K band, detection of K band is approximately the same as a X50.
The KA is selective of the photoradar frequencies and seems to scan and pick up...

The Bushnell sets the Blinder off too but only at a 50% rate, whats strange is out of the hit's another 30% of those the range finders readings would be out of whack.

Just been playing with a Bushnell Laser Range Finder 1500, I was aiming at the car from 7yards, no matter where I aimed for on the car plate or headlights the V1 would go off!
My V1 is mounted high...

I have my KA false off on my Euro version no problems whatsoever. But when I borrowed a friends real old V1 I switched off the KA false and it was forever screaming blue murder,...

Yes it has a auto dimmer, it's the big reddish window next to the volume knob.
If you use your finger to cover it up the display goes dimmer or is it brighter! :lol: :lol:

Not that I've seen a VF, but are you saying the unit on the rear has it's own detector unit?
And if it senses IR it operates the unit to flash?

I run Euro 'U' and K band photo cameras give approx 500m warning, mind you so does the X50. :lol: :lol:

Don't know if it helps, but I ran a RX65 using a V1 power adapter. So it works that way round.
Mind you the RX65 wasn't mine and the owner wasn't to bothered.

So once I 've started up "The Monkey flicks the switch!" Bingo.

But one bad thing is when I get hit by laser I switch the M20 off and my V1 goes...

Hi a mate had three V1's sent to BC Canada, and is looking at a duty bill of $220 Cdn.
He has contacted VR on this hidden cost and VR don't have any idea, VR would only send the RD's overnite UPS....
