Re: What happened to this place..

This is the first RD forum, and still the best. I've been a RDF member, and after 3 login's you're tossed if you don't join. Further, they install **** on your os and browser to block any attempt...
  2. Re: I believe I know what the new Escort RD is all about

No, the Escort DSP is not the best performing X/K detector ever made. It was for its time, but it got surpassed in tests when the V1 was launched. It also lags behind the Redline.

    The DSP as...

  4. Re: Black Escort x50, is my RD falsing of RD users? (video)

All radar detectors emit, even the highly touted " twin antenna stealth-ed models" (Bel/Escort M3 models) emit. Some just emit worse than others, and some emit in a frequency range that really...

Re: The future of Valentine One? Dismal.

I am torn on this subject, really. There are things about the V1 that no other detector has that I would not want to part with.

Simple functionality: turn the knob to control volume instead of...

    Fixed that for you.

The only times I have experienced what you described (weird noises, display of "E") is when I had a voltage issue on my setup.

I would be sure the power connection is secure and the charging...

    Re: V1 and ESP

Exactly as I suspected. You don't have the first clue what you are talking about, you have never read the patent and don't know what exactly it pertains to...or even if it really exists.

    Thanks...

I couldn't care less about Mike Valentine or the V1.

I care about what patent you claim they are violating. I care about the source of any of your bull**** information that you are claiming as...

Gone from don't exist to no, you're wrong, no, you're still wrong to now : Well, Escort will put a stop to it because of some patent.

No escort product does what that does. None. Not even the IQ.

You don't have that with Belscort. Name one single model that can display the frequency of each threat, the location of the threat, and the signal strength.

Only one detector has this capability,...

    Re: Escort Redline Updates?

I don't believe that's it. I have used other V1's with similar performance. I think the Redline could just benefit from STI-R features.

I run with POP on, btw.

    Re: Escort Redline Updates?

With Ka Guard off, my V1 usually smokes my Redline with off-axis 35.5 and with off-axis 34.7 it downright makes it look silly at times.

Re: New motorcycle any defense suggestions?

They do amazingly well with dodgy power. But there is only so much that can be done. The later Escorts also do very well with power issues.
