the v985 doesn't have bogie count or readout for multiple bogies. It can be set to tech mode, but I don't think this would help because I feel like the drone would overpower a LEO so there wouldn't...
Thanks, that's the bad news that I wanted to know. Multiple bogie detection is pretty clutch, I suppose.
Thanks again.
I don't want to get into an argument over this, but in PA they just line the highways w/ the drones whether or not there is merit to slow down. I'm talking about routes that I drive reguarly and...
Hello,
In PA, apparently almost exclusively K band is used. There are drones setup on most construction signs that use K band. Can a LEO use K band radar in the vicinity of a drone and still get...
Hello,
I've been using a new (used) 985 for a few days now and about once per 2-hour drive I pick up some Ka, usually only 1 bar but sometimes 4 or 5. Once, I even got an instant-on Ka alert. To...
It would take a lot of effort but wouldn't be technically challenging. Google earth allows data to be hacked into it and easily transmitted over the internet. It would be great if people with...
Hello,
I was wondering what bands you guys have experienced on maryland routes 83, 695, and 97. Any K?
Thanks again!
They are aweful. I don't really understand how one is supposed to pick up a five-oh in all that background.
Am I to understand from the sticky on radar freq. used by different states that PA ONLY uses K band (no laser, no Ka, no x) for radar/laser speed detection?
So, it will simultaneously show two bogies and their strenghts? Or, how does it show you that there are multiple bogies?
Thanks again.
Hello,
Am I correct in assuming that the 985 can't simultaneously track and report multiple bogies?
This seems to be a critical feature especially when faced with radar-emitting construction...
