BEL 966r I bought for 420eur sealed. it's a great unit and I love it.
I don't find a mute button though :?

There's no alternative since in E.U. only in italy rds are allowed possesion/usage. LPP + TARGET966r make the best combination.
don't forget that 966r needs extra sensors for laser so LPP will cover...

I had the same problem on my tester with Ka band detection. Made the small mod and is working. I've adjusted the slug and on my 550 it shows Ka 34.000GHz.

You don't have to worry about POP in Europe. MPH radars (which are the only ones using the POP function) are not certified with the CE mark and so they can not be imported in the E.U.

V1 is O.K. if you like beeping all the time for various things non-radar.
