I get POP alerts here and there and some other odd alerts with Version 5.

I have had a couple false POP alerts on my X50, and have lately turned POP off, as it's not used around here, anyway. I will post the software version in the sticky message... but this is is even...

Interesting that they would pick the Solo 2, even after acknowledging the decreased range compared to it's corded sibling.

I just got the Escort 8500 x50 as a pre-Christmas Christmas present! Maybe I should have asket for the Bell RX65.

How tough is it to upgrade with Escort?

I like the stem bolt hole mounts too.

Unfortunately in their efforts to be different, Triumph uses a closed machined stearing head bolt... so no hole.

As weather and terrain effect radar and laser, is it safe to assume it will also effect my detector's ability to "see" radar?

It seems in Washington State, I'm usually riding my Triumph in hilly...

As it seems LE agencies register with the FCC for each band of radar used... is there any way to check/confirm state by state what types of radar are in use?

I'm guessing all bands are registered...
