Send it in if you think there is an issue.
There's a hotspot on I-55 near Gillespie. There is a Trooper Headquarters right off the highway. They love running traps about 10 miles up and down from there. It's a mix of...
If anyone is having button response issues with their V1 CD you can take it apart and clean between the button back and the circuit board with a q-tip and alcohol until it comes out clean. Bingo, no...
I have mine hardwired this way and have for years. I soldered the connections and the length if RJ-11 is only about 2 inches, the rest is 18 gauge 2 conductor.
Are you using phone wire? If so is it 2 or 4 conductor?
I get a lot bugs on my headlights especially during summer. Can bugs be removed without removing the veil?
I will add something about V1 and city driving. While I do use my V1 all the time I rarely speed through towns/cities because it's not advantageous to do so. If you are going a short distance you are...
Totally unrelated to post. Very Nice Ride.
Answered my own question. Left only one LED lights up when hit (audible alarm). Right head 2 leds always on even when hit (no audible alarm).
Starts up fine. Only one will set off jammer when using osprey range finder. I am guessing one head receiver is bad? Any thoughts?
I am guessing maybe they look at the case and if it looks near perfect they don't charge? Either way I'm not complaining. Just a note to anyone concerned about leaving your V1 in the car. I never...
I have had the M20 Xtreme for about 5 years. Had them on a Accord until a year ago and now they are on a Jeep Patriot. I have had a couple of encounters and I think they may not have jammed mainly...
I have now had my V1 for 10 years. I have sent it in a few times over the years, false laser alerts from the rear now twice. A couple of other times for tune ups. I have NEVER been charged the $45...
GPS- 1227.6 MHz and 1575.42 MHz
AM-530 kHz-1720 kHz and are spaced every 10 kHz
I would guess that is the problem....
1# Where did/do you mount your navalert?
2# Who still listens to AM radio??? jk
How does it know which vehicle it's reading?? In other words, what about passing vehicles?? Is that not an issue??
That's good to know. Is there a time frame for these cables yet?
If you have a k band mute at a particular location, and you get an additional signal will it auto mute that as well? I don't think V1 can distiguish between different K band signals.
What's even better is placing the remote for the radar in your cup holder on hold. Then you forget about it, and then 20 minutes later you get a sudden full blast of Ka. You stomp the brakes hard and...
If you are feeling really adventurous you can slap in a delay circuit so it does not turn on until a few or up to 90 seconds later. DEI makes one that's cheap and works perfectly. I don't remember...
That's awesome! I can't wait!
Where do you live????
I thought about that but I was worried the magnet would affect the antenna. I see it's easy to aim for viewing. It's even easier for taking off too.
The one that it comes with. I just cut the Cig. plug off and hardwired it. None of my countermeasures use plugs...
