rsxsti do you remember what band it used? somebody confirmed K-band which is very easy to detect
i think VR beat microsoft with the regular updates
trust me guys laser detection is almost useless  never had a save with my rd, if I would be speeding during the alert, it would be too late, you only have 1/3 sec to slow down
sometimes I can get connection in my basement if the sky is clear on my garmin c550, it uses the same sirf-star III receiver, inside the car anywhere you place it 8)
where did you hear this, it's 100% BS
forget about the warrenty, for $190 even if something goes wrong it costs about $75 to fix, still cheaper than a brand new one w/warrenty
d'oh now they come out with a new rd, i hope it equals the STi in Ka detection while still maintaining the good K-band it already has
even if it comes with a gps it will not drive v1 out of business they're a solid company IMO, but the gps would be very cool for falses, the RD should memorize the frequency and where the false is,...
there's probably nothing wrong with the hardware itself just a minor glitch in the firmware but neverthless you should get it inspected
DET, i too heard about the 40ghz bs gun, however it cannot be used in US because the FCC currently does not allow the use, its outside the Ka range assigned to the leo's. It could be licensed later...
GTO, POP can be used in moving mode but only the Ka model. According to MPH the 67ms pop can be used in both stationary and moving but the much shorter 16ms K-band is only for stationary
like I stated above a good conutermeasure for the fixed ones is to have a good gps system but the one's that are mobile (in minivan parked to the side) you're SCREWED. I hope companies come out with...
Tell me your joking  How do you think they find out who owns the car, by the colour? No, rego tag. Make this hard to photo and that's your fix bright spark

sorry mate...
a skilled leo will definetly get PT, you better test your set-up with a lidar gun or veil everything including the shiny grill
they stopped with the crazy firmware upgrades.... or maybe they still changed it but the units still displays 3.858 to keep everyone's mouth shut here on this board
escort sells about a 1/4 of the 5million radar detectors sold anually, the poll is not very usefull because the votes cannot speak for the entire company
205mph  sorry no v1 can save you!!
ogghh i just saw it stealth jamal resigned, PM him for advice 8)
can we still bash the crapas under the new rules :D
dump people like that should be ticketed for stupidity, oh wait there's no law that says "you can't be stupid"
the car's a bullet!!! if I had the money I would definetly go for a ferrari f430 imo it looks better. Ever since audi took over lambos are getting heavier  but ferraries are hardcore pure racing
v1 is a really solid detector, i wish v1 would listen to their costumers and 1) make a better display 2)have the option of turning off the j-issue and possibly fix the ghosting to make the bogey...
illinois doesn't allow tinting of driver windows, countless people got robbed for $75 which is the same as a speeding ticket :o
they are both produced at the same plant in ontario, canada but they have HQ here in us too
