Exactly the reason I went to an X50 for my daily urban driver...after several years the V1 is just too chatty in town and I too started ignoring alerts. Yes, I know it's a trade off for the filtering...

No...really....Albertsons and CVS spammed the heck out of my V1...the X50 kept quiet....it either filtered the spam or didn't know they were there! :o

The spam filter in my X50 works better than the one in my V1.....
