Hey from Gwinnett county! Do you have any countermeasures?
I know that GA law just says that the LEO has to be visible from 250 feet (which isn't much if you're traveling in a car). NY/NJ seem to be really serious about their laser, so I'm betting rear laser...
That is true - this seems like it would be a good tool for road traffic measurement-
Wow, that's a great idea! (Scoots off to CL....)
It's tough to get a real laugh from me, so I definitely enjoyed it - sometimes there's far too little humor in these forums!
Hi Dom,
Guys of Lidar has a great maps of laser jammer laws - there are nine states in which they are illegal. RDs are illegal only in VA and DC. Almost all states use both Radar and LIDAR.

Good on you, man! It's definitely worth it to do it yourself if you have the know how and the tools (I don't, haha). Wouldn't trust BB as far as I could throw them, and that is overcharging for the...
Did anyone else catch the irony of this? Sounds like they're writing tickets just so they can pay overtime.[/QUOTE]
It sounds like a win/win for the cops and the photo radar company - the cops...
Local information, like N Alabama said, is your best resource. NC/SC and NJ all definitely have some X left. K-band is what I see >50% of the time for radar, so no way I'm turning it off!
Sounds like a win in my book! I'm sure he said something to the effect of "We can take up a ton of your time arguing this ticket, or you can just give him a small fine, no points, and everyone goes...
This really sounds like something that is trying to take the place of the '2 pneumatic tubes run across the road' with something much more costly and complicated...
Yeah, it is kind of annoying that my V1 ends up clattering onto my dash every time the weather takes a 20 degree shift... which is often in GA
Ouch, what county is that? I'm in SC infrequently but I always ride with X off....
Great install, by the way!
That's a good deal - my dual up front was $250, but a good install is worth it!
goodtimes40, you should check local auto/radio places and see if anyone's done a LJ install before. Usually they...
Nothing but great reviews about Cliff, I can only say the same! He's helped me on the phone and in person-
Glad it worked out!
Worth it for $50 to get it repaired - sorry to hear that!
A jammer is crucial these days - can't recommend the Laser Interceptor enough!
By the time you get a laser alert, the LEO already has your speed, unless its picking up laser scatter from cars...
Welcome! Lots of people from the NE here. Really recommend the LI- if you go blinder, you've got to go Hp905, the newest version.
The old M versions won't jam all the newest guns(!)
Glad to have you - sorry about the ticket, but hopefully you'll get what you need to keep from getting another one!
Welcome to the forum! Glad you enjoyed your trip to the states!
Welcome to the forum! Lots of info here-
