Thanks for the vids, Racer...
Convinces me: two AL heads up front, two rear... If I really want to be invisible. Not much Lidar in use around here, but some. I'll consider it carefully, unless...
While Roy's website $250. ROY is the way to go. may be true for a whistler, he has no bargains to offer on these wonderful RMR units... In fact, He's so proud of them "He wouln't sell me one at...
Real nice!
the JFGs are more important to me, only because you've got that *BEEP* bra on the front... and I won't do that to mine, so the "slab" of the tailgate makes a great target! Mine is...
Audi,
Windows XP defaults to: if you wait til it gets smaller, you will see in the lower right corner a box with arrows when you mouse over the pic. Click on the box.
heres a link to a wiring diagram for a RD and brake light switch. It also has Laser Jammer in it.. but you don't need that.
Wiring Diagram
If I were doing that, I think I would switch the...
Mistaque # 1
Mistaque #2
Doubtful... however, hitting the brakes and the resulting nose dip prolly just told the officer "I'm feeling guilty, I have a radar detector, come get me."

If I have passengers, I tend to put the RD in Autoscan which reduces "all of the above." Else, I run in HIGHWAY alla time. In areas where I know what "falses" to expect, if I get something else or...
Racer,
Full sized truck. Which?
Color? Year?
impressions I had were that 1 AL head in the front was eough. I had cocerns that one head on the rear would not normally be enough with the SLAB...
I've inadvertently left mine on over night more than once, and once or twice while I'm at work (a 12 hour shift).
It has not drained my battery noticably, (wasn't hard to start or dragging...
It's gonna be personal preference. V1 may be better for LIDAR
Buy a V1... try it for 30 days. If it doesn't suit you, return it and you can get any of the others from Roy.
RD's do not detect...
I still think VASCAR a good possibility... Marks on the hiway? some states use triangles on the sides... some use white bars in the lane, others use lines straight across the hiway (both lanes)......
Two words.
YOU
according to this list >>>click here<<< VASCAR is indeed used in Indiana where your profile says you reside. also according to that list and the other list of LIDAR guns by state, Indiana is not...
My guess is Vascar from the air...
When he cited you for speeding... what did he say?
I estimated your speed, I clocked you on radar, You were timed doing...
If not vascar, somebody was...

didn't say he was reckless.
If he's so oblivious to what he's doing while he's driving the car listening to tunes, and has so many tickets, and pays so much for insurance, and it's not about...
"He's my friend."
If your friend had a couple of OWI/OMVI (whatever you call 'em out east) would you hand him the keys to his car if you were the designated driver out on a night of partying?

Yeah, posted before... but heresay....I got the link fer proof!
Well!
A couple of weeks ago I posted about "falsing" following a tractor on the road... high K band readings... we were close to a cel tower... I thought it was interference from the tower...
His HO notwithstanding, I suggest you listen to this ^^^^guy!^^^^
The perfesser seems to know what he's talkin' 'bout (most of the time anyway!)!
Well, then!
That'd be a great idea. If you mount it vertical, you'll get (with what used to be the side arrows) detection of airborne "vascadar"! And, road mounted timing pads for speed cameras!...
exactly[/quote]
I think I said it millions of time: there are NOOOOOOOOOOOO any RDs, low-end, medium-end, high-end, any-end, you name it, in this freaking ignorant, brainwashed, politically...
to date, I've had good luck with a Bel 945... at about $120... not the top three by any stretch... but tolerable... and a few decent saves.
If you can get one of the two recommended above,...
Here are two links to give you what measures are being used by LEO in the states and which laser guns.
