Ok, for you experienced V1 peeps out there.... I had some questions.
First I am coming from an X50 and I noticed that the V1 likes to go off Ka whenever a crapra is around somewhere. It does a...
its nice laughing at other people's expense isn't it???  I hate people sometimes I swear........
That should be added to the thread... you know your a RD fanatic when...... lol.... you notice crapra's on a movie...
Duuuuuude...I would be VERY careful. They use Spectre in Virginia and the X50 has no protection against this. If they detect your detector, you can, and probably will get a ticket.
X2.......
The best detector I have ever owned was the X50... Granted that I am learning the V1 still. Other than that I have owned the follwing detectors... X50 (red and blue displays) Rx65, 9500i, and the V1...
I gotta hand it to you man.... that's ingenious. Very smart driving buddy 8) 8)
I hate to be the first one to suggest this but..... I have heard complaints from people getting bogus tickets... the cop uses Radar/Laser while moving and just has his car on Cruise control and does...
Well I gotta admire your honesty. I am just amazed at the detailed description and reasoning for your speeding. Just be careful in all the "important" areas like school zones, residential areas, and...
Rx65... A very nice unit... I just dont like thier version of the multi-threat display. The X50 has a really nice Expert meter when you get used to it.
Well lets see.... the V1 users on this...
I think that flashing your highbeams, at night anyways, would just pi$$ the person in front of the pack off. I hate to agree but I would get in the other lane and gun it also... I will try to "save"...
I have never seen one of these devices before... I have only got falses from construction signs and amber alert signs, but these are both at close ranges and are not very strong signals at all.
I was once a Hardcore Belscort user. I now have both however and the V1 is in fact a fine detector, but I dont think anyone on this forum with any common sense or basic knowledge on RD's will dout...
Thats funny stuff allright.... 5000 feet!!! Yea... if you hit me at 5000' I don't think it will be that hard for me to fight that one in a court of law. If the Lidar can even reach that far that...
yea I fell victim to a laser speed trap once, and I will be buying a jammer ASAP. I just don't want to fall victim to the system again. Being ticketed for 72 in a 65 is complete BS... If I was a LEO...
Yea, but I must admit, I love passing one up who is shooting constant-on K or Ka on the highway and having PLENTY of time to slow down and they see my RD (because as of right now its sitting in the...
well said... This is very true... I typically go about 5 to 10 over the PSL myself. The only ticket I have gotten was in a laser speed trap over a hill at night!!! Holy cra P!!! How do ya beat that??...
ok so... I have been having issues with my X50 for some time (service Req and Self-Cal messages popping up randomly) and I went out and purchased a V1 from the website on Valentine1.com.... First off...
man, its too bad that you didn't buy the Cobra.... They make REALLY great paper weights.
OMG!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?
OMG MAGNISIEM CASE! TWO ANTENNAS! CURES CANCER!

lol.... thats how they like to make it sound, thats whats so funny
ok guys I am sorry for being invisible and not replying fast but my internet was being gay.... I didn't expect this to turn into a war between which detector is better, but I guess I should have...
ok so here in a nutshell is my story...... I bought my first RD about 2 years ago, an Escort X50 Red with version 5. It has started giving me self cal messages and the scanning dot glitches a...
well when your scanning dot starts to glitch and you can no longer detect radar signals and there is no self-cal message.......... wtf??? that may not be the primary purpose of the scanning dot, ur...
I hate to say this so blunt but I think I should for your sake.... I have seen the V1 in action on the interstate with my friends V1 and compared it to my X50. They alerted pretty much at the same...
I am just the same way as the other user on this thread stated earlier. I have both the X50 and now the 9500 (on its 30 day trial) and I see the difference. I have run at Ka speed traps and K band...
I reset the unit about 30 minutes ago.... we shall see if I get the glitches in the scanning dot this week sometime... hopefully I won't
