or the newer cat flows more air and the sensor is programmed to the stock cat so its reading slightly higher emissions levels and throwing the code.

same thing happened to my friend and his lancer. To get it out we took off the cover and i took a regular nut and set it on top of the broken screw and laid a tack weld inside the nut onto the screw...
the clutch seems to be pretty stout, most the 8 people that are boosted and running over 300 Hp have the stock clutch and while many recommend a aftermarket flywheel they will say stick with the OEM...
No, the gas mileage is not great but the sound and performance from it are well worth it. The engine is so easy to work on so im not sure were you heard they were a PITA. The consist of hardly any...
lol well up until recently i had never had cars that had this thing called "warranty" that you speak of. I thoroughly enjoy having it especially since i have a 8 year 100k mile warranty on this baby...
i will get them lol, i have been real busy with work lately but ya hopefully tom morning before work i can get some quick pics but otherwise it wont be until monday when im off.
Well i traded in my spec v today and bought a 05 6spd RX-8. After driving it i couldnt help it and would of keep the spec but there is just no more room in the garage with mine and the GF's new...
indeed. I test drove both and IMO the 05 STI was/is the best and the new evo just doesn't compare to the older one.
Go with BFG KDW. they outperformed the F1 in the wet test and are a way better bang for your buck.

nice car but the sc300 of that year have alot more potential being they have the supra engine in them ;)
my car stock can run like 14's..... honestly man 14's is not fast at all. (IMO at least)
you have a 100+ dollar shirt :hmmmm2:
what car do you have now, thats like a 200% increase in HP so you would have to basically make a whole new engine to be able to handle that depending on what vehicle we are talking about.
I would agree but we are talking about FWD and while alot of people track spec,s most either gut it and rally it (because apparently they make great rally cars, We have one member with like the title...
Yay no joke but hey man if you got a spec you can get the VQ35 engine swapped in perfectly.... We even have one spec with the swap and boosted and its stupid fast. But a VQ35 and a 100 shot will...
The new ones i hated at first but now im starting to like the look and FYI the new ones internals are made to be boosted. No joke when they made the newer ones (07+) they put a 8pt balanced crank...
to learn more go here Myspecv.com By far one of the best forums, its a very fun and informative and secure.
It was a 60 trim t3/t4 and they even put SC61 on specs and we have some people with over 400whp at around 14-15psi with those. Yes that was on stock internals with wrx 440cc fuel injectors. The...
im not saying they couldnt, but the stock 1.8 cannot get that out of 8 psi... There is a huge difference between a spec v and a civic... Im not saying a GTI is bad because its not, my buddy has a...
314, the spec is a 2.5li engine and puts out crazy torque so in almost all cases you will see the specs torque match the hp or be just below it.
i agree, but the spec has alot of torque and comes stock with a LSD and someone is even working on making a awd/rwd conversion for the spec so its getting alot of support.
Get a spec, I have one and it was boosted but i sold the kit and i am re-making a "secret" never made one right now however the spec has come along way since its release and can be made crazy fast. ...
when you are ready for tires with real traction, pick up a set of these ;)

well i know several issues with the Nissan/Infin issues. Several motors do have a oil consumption problem however your car is not one of those. Definitely sounds like the crank angle sensor. I...
that turbo sounds amazing.... I would replace the turbo every 200 miles if i had to for that sound ;)
