I would have to say the industry has actually grown, and in a good way. So many enthusiast oriented features on RD's now, and some really cool installed yet portable units like the SmartRadar, even...

Nope its no copy, it is the LI, just branded for Escort.

I have been using RD's for many years and recently just been testing out the V1 with this new app called YaV1.

Item's needed: V1C BT dongle, V1 3.892/3 or higher and a smart phone with the YaV1...

Had some slight vibration from my Max on the windshield so i cut a peace of dense foam to fit between the RD and the bottom of the mount. Worked perfectly and no more vibration! Best part is this...

I have found satellite dishes give off this frequency sometimes as well.

If the V1 is still in your price range go that way definitely, it can be programed to be very quiet and has a ton of options if you decide to really dive into what it can do. I pretty much grantee...

No one mentioned the TSR feature on the new V1's. This helps with falsing as well, but the best is "L/l" modes that mute K band to a specific time and strength. And the 3.826 has "L/l" modes.

I agree, depending how old it is it may be just as good or even better than new units if it has the S7 antenna. Escort also warranty's there serviced products.
