How many of you guys belong to any Police Associations? In Texas they have the 100 Club, The Texas DPS Officers Association, etc. These groups provide aid to fallen officers families, etc.

Here is my take on the 940. I've been using it since early 2007. Great detector. Here are some pics of my 940 and some of the 100's of saves it's given me.

Over 130 tickets in 2 hours.
Wow.

I think that 2 mega pixels would be fine. My camera takes pictures at 1.2 mega pixels so it shouldn't be a problem.
Just be careful out there and don't take your eyes off of the road too much.

Skario, congrats on the 940. It's a really solid unit. It has the range of some of the big boys. It just doesn't have all of the bells and whistles.

I don't know. My digital camera is only 1.2 mega pixels. Just be careful doing it.

Well, I travelled to visit family over the Thanksgiving weekend. I had planned to grab several pics on my way thru East Texas. However, the weather turned bad not long after I took these pics. I...
The range on my 940 has been so good that I'm going to stick with it. I read the S7 - M4 debate thread and figure that my S7 Rev 4.5 940 is just fine. It gets great reception. The only thing it...
I drive 70 miles to and 70 miles from work each day. So, I see a lot of LEO's each day. Playing cat and mouse with the LEO's has turned into a fun way to pass the time of my drive each day. After...
Well, my 940 saw it's fair share of action this week. Most Notably, an X Band encounter where the LEO was sitting right next to the worst X Band motion sensor in Houston. As you'll see from the...
Good looking install LordVector. I'm sure that you'll enjoy it. No annoying cords.

Any takers :D
I have a quick question about my cars window tint. My car has the Metatllic type tint and I was told at the shop where it was done that it could interfere with GPS reception.
Now to my question. ...
The more I've thought about it the more I'm considering sticking with the 940. I don't know what it is but I think I got a really sensative unit from Bel. The reason I say that is I seem to be...
I rarely have Laser encounters here in Texas. Usually only in the spring. The LEO's here in Texas don't like them from what I hear. It's too hot (105 degrees) in Summer on some days. LEO's...

Here you go. The Pro 73 is probably the best + or - $80.00 Radar Detector on the market. If your looking for something cheaper than...
Oh and Lumberjack, I have never seen such a LEO fest,,,,You must have a ball my friend!!! :D
The LEO's were out again today. But not as heavy as yesterday.
I saw a Harris...
Then I was IO'd and he didn't shoot the cars in front of me like the locals usually do. This guys was a bonified "Red Patch" DPS.
I'm on my way home now. We'll see what I get into tonight :o ...
You'd be amazed at how may LEO's I see on a daily baisis. A lot of days it's over 20.
LJ93
You can tell that the LEO's are getting geared up for a big Thanksgiving ticket fest. They were out in full force today in Texas. I had 5 separate radar encounters on the way home from work today....
Glad you guys enjoyed the pics.
I'll try to post more as I get them.

Here is an image of a 2 mile warning that I got one morning. By the time I rolled up on the scene, I had had a good 2 miles of warning. The officer left his radar on while he wrote his ticket.
