The CR90 finally arrived today from radarbusters. I'll test it out over the next week or so and let you know what I think. At the moment I have V1 and Max to compare it to. I'll test your menu...
Amazingly, the Max seems to be shipping before the CR90, and radarbuster's ship date keeps extending. When will we see these?
You read that right
I just ordered a CR90 through radarbusters, although the ship date keeps slipping (any good reason, Mike?)
I love my V1 and will really miss the arrows. But with a...
I just got an Escort Upgrade promo email, and found this little surprise hidden inside! I find no other mention of it elsewhere.
(You can see the short discription in the promo, at escort's web site...
The alert sounds like it is part of the techno music...is the alert frequency beat-sensitive too? ;)
Reminds me of that video of the techno guy dancing to the car alarm... :)
Guys, clearly something is just pressing the buttons on top, and marking/unmarking locations as you hit bumps etc. If it is top-mounted, make sure nothing is near touching the top buttons.
I got a 9500ix for the second car, mostly driven by my girlfriend who doesn't like the V1's noisiness.
And I was impressed that (once I turned off running the V1 at the same time), it was just as...
Wenham lasered me from the rear last summer. Never saw them with it again, though they do love running 33.7 moving and instant-on all the time. Nasty little town!
Thanks for the research. My experiences certainly agree. Magistrate always finds responsible with a small reduction (even on my first ticket). During appeal, officer lied through his teeth under...
Try it. Works fine for me. I actually have it mounted to the headliner, but it is fully under the metal roof. Never has a problem with GPS.
No different really than the garmin I also have mounted on...
The manual says lockout occurs after "about" three passes, because that may actually vary.
If it is a weak signal and did not pick it up with every single pass, then it may wait for 4 or 5 alerts...
Might as well add my recent experience and proof here.
I just got a 9500ix two weeks ago, for my girlfriends car, which I drive more on the weekends. She of course doesn't like the noisyness of...
It boggles my mind that scanning could ever be illegal. They are beaming those signals through your head, you have a basic right to receive them. Even every piece of electronics must conform via FCC...
Is there a way to disable the voice at startup?
I'm getting really tired of all the things I have installed making all sorts of noise when I turn my car on (and often twice as the key goes from acc...
It doesn't need to have knowledge of front or back, but the LI could certainly tell you which head is seeing it. Then again, I'm sure in many cases multiple heads see the signal.
Then all those infinities going by causing false jams would get REALLY annoying!
(Of course, the whole benefit of open source is if there is a problem like that, you can go and fix it...I wish the...
I've wanted an open source jammer to exist for a while.
(And as mentioned, an open source tester would also be excellent)
It could still be profitable for those that want to sell preassembled...
I have certainly passed some that are. One I know was the letter-number brand that is unmetionable here run by a friend. Just need to go shopping for some of the junkiest detectors you can find. :)
Speaking of Infinity, did GOL happen to get a chance to see how well various detectors and jammers ignored Infinities?
Same here...actually I was staring down a gun the day after installing, going well faster than other traffic as well...but because I was in the far right light, he never pulled the trigger (each lane...
The Goons have now struck Gizmodo comments, playing their usual game, creating a new account and bashing all comments again them. They are even quick to discount radardetector.net, labeling us all as...
What if you veiled the can? Would that give you results BETTER than JTG??
All this time I'd been keeping my crumpled beer cans in the back seat...from now on I'm taping them all over the exterior!
I still have my lp904 (ZR3) installed as well as the new LI, I won't remove it till I've done some comparison testing.
I too would prefer something closer east. Devens would be great but no idea...
I'm impressed, it certainly looks a lot better. Do they have a special upgrade pricing for my almost-full previous-gen can? :)
