Re: Poliscan rear shot tested today

    Nice!
I replaced my grills (from chrome) to matt black and removed/painted any reflective surfaces.
Also having personal plates made from polycarb with some Veil dramatically cut down the IR cross...

Re: Poliscan rear shot tested today

Glad to see you've taken our advice on how to set up the rear jammer heads properly (for Poliscans)

One muppet in Perth (that sells laser jammers) has a Youtube video showing his rear AL's going...

Re: Poliscan rear shot tested today

I think you're crazy to be posting a video to YouTube with so many identifying features (your car, voice, mobile phone type etc etc)

One thing I'd like to chime in here concerned with the...

    Re: Redline repairs?

I am pretty unhappy with the volume of Redlines I've seen with the "service required" error coming up after a few weeks. In my group of friends, there's been over 10 (including 1 today!) that they...

Re: Supposed new undetectable radar gun

Thanks guys, Falcon HR it seems like it is.
Why then would the police tell the media it was undetectable?

    Supposed new undetectable radar gun

I know it's prob crap, but does anyone know what make this dash mount radar is?

    Re: My 5 Day Install

In regards to rear Poliscan hits (which you guys in the states don't have) the Poliscan takes the photo very quickly after you have past the camera.
I have pulled over on the side of the road and...
  8. Re: Western Australia News article - Laser park pro does defet Poliscan?

Did you drive past the camera (over) the limit or on it?
Only way to know for sure is to blow past at more than 10ks + an allowance for your speedo as most over read by 4-7ks
  9. Re: Western Australia News article - Laser park pro does defet Poliscan?

Interesting to see the Australian supplier has dumped the LPP and is now selling the AL - which is proved to (actually be) effective against the Poliscans ;)

    Re: Vitronic Poliscan

The don't use the Kustom PL3 in WA, nor the Marksman (anymore)

The hand helds are LR100's and Compacts. And now, they have 14 LTi Trucam's
  11. Re: Western Australia News article - Laser park pro does defet Poliscan?

Added to these 23 Poliscan cameras, the Western Australian police have just bought 14 LTI Trucams!

The police minister on the news was also discussing laser detector detectors, but what she was...
  12. Re: Western Australia News article - Laser park pro does defet Poliscan?

I am pretty sure they meant the laser detector (function) of a radar detector
  13. Re: Western Australia News article - Laser park pro does defet Poliscan?

I am not sure the LPP will even alert to the Poliscan, let alone jam it.

Whistler Pro78SE only alerted once over 4 or 5 runs. The rest of the time was silent.

V1 was the only detector that was...

Re: Valintine 1 for western australia

The poliscan has a laser shooting each direction, the motorcycle camera is an optional second unit placed 20m down the road from the main unit.
Blinder and LPP do not jam the Poliscans

Marked (and some unmarked) cars hav dash mounted.

  16. Re: help with where to mount Bel STi-R, and which KA segmnts to have on!!

There has been a few Multanovas not detected by the V1 in euro mode in Western Australia...in the last 12 months too.

I'd have to dig up the posts by darkflame? I think that detailed the exact...

    Re: Happya$$ dared me...

MEM-TEK what mode were you running the V1 in?
IMO - by enabling the advanced programming features (namely the K-band muting) the V1 is quieter than any other radar detector (without GPS lockout)...
  19. Re: Police's technology is far ahead of radar detector manufacturers.

Do you have a link please MEM-TEK

Re: Would you be interested in this device?

If you want to sell this product Internationally, then don't go with a frame, since license plate sizes vary.
