They will probably charge you $275 (or is it $175?, someone please correct) to upgrade, because they will give you a new radar (v 1.8) with the latest software.

Keep driving and learning what your RD is telling you. Eventually you'll find a LEO shooting radar or laser.

Maybe you're getting a weak signal because the camera has its radar looking toward you're heading (shooting cars from behind) and hence you had a full K alert when the camera had you in its aim....
