From what I understand, it's pretty much a GPS unit that has speed/red light cameras as Points of Interest.
weird, now it's showing up for me!
is there no "Lounge" anymore?
Where did you get your GPS tracker? Is it just like lojack? Sounds like a pretty cool thing to have!
are the bottom two add-ons to the existing stock bumper? i think the Z already comes with great line, so the bottom two would be my choice!
I've heard of them....they sound AWESOME!!! They're real big with the BMW driver. I doubt they will have one for your GLI since it's not listed on their main website. I used to have a 1996 Jetta GL,...
Are they both hardwired?[/quote]
Ya they're both hardwired. The power cord to the GPS is the original cigarette lighter cord. I had to go to Radio Shack to buy the adapter that splits the plug ...
Also got a 260 and an X50. I never have to take down my GPS or my RD, cause you can't see them at all from the outside.

hey corean1786,
I'm from San Antonio too. I was just wondering what street you were driving on, cause I have never gotten tagged by laser in SA.
I'm planning on getting a V1 when the warranty on my X50 runs out (July 2010). Do you guys still think the V1 will be $399?
have you ever used the sea foam stuff?
Very cool! Does it come with maps? If so, from what company?
Do you ever use the Sport Mode? I was always to scared to use it..lol..don't ask me why :) Ya it was pretty quick, and mine sounded sweet cause I fitted a performance intake from the CTS-V.
OH NO! I would never mount it on the roof. Ya, I didn't really explain it clearly. I would run the cable from the glove compartment under the carpet, then under the back seat, and then into the trunk...
Hey DollaBill,
Is that your Catera? I used to have one, and I loved that car! The first thing I changed was the grill, my Cadillac dealer had one of these in stock.

Those are some great suggestions. I have tried to mount the GPS on the dash, but I actually felt like an unsafe driver (having to look down). I am very tall and the seat is already the lowest it can...
The Garmin 260 lets you store pictures in the unit. Then you can set the options to display a certain picture when you power it up.
I wanted it to look like it came with the car.
you actually can't see either the RD or the GPS (behind tint strip), and I have pretty dark tinted windows (hence the crappy dark pictures).
Just finished washing and waxing my Volvo S80, and I decided to hardwired both my Garmin 260 and my 8500 X50. I'm going to be getting a CB soon, but I'm not really sure where to put it. I think I...
hey, thanks a lot yall!!!
Hello! I was just wondering which fuse to cut into to hardwire my CB radio. I followed Rdr Roys video about hardwiring your detector to the radio fuse, but whats another good fuse in the fuse box to...
ok if you're really thinking about it (blah..FWD), it's probably stupid! But for looks....I think they would look awesome!!! I would get them
i personally feel that 19" w/lowering will really decrease the ride quality. i think 18" w/lowering would be just right (pretty smooth, and has the stiffness when needed). I had a jetta and i can...
If you for sure want to go back to black, it would be nice to have it gloss black, like already stated. IMO I would go with red! I looks so nice when a black car has red under the hood. I know this...
