A few weeks ago I began to get random full on Ka and K falses that would not go away. They would often shift from Ka to K so muting them wouldn't help. I reset the detector and it went back to...
It wont, but make sure that the suction cups stay away from the coating.
Now the important question: when are you going to buy a real detector?
You forgot the option: No, because some V1 users will refuse to ever try anything else.
I'm gonna vote Sti, I'm thinking about test driving one myself.
well if you say that the x50 falls behind in ka band a little then i could raise the prise up a little. Besides the x50 which of these have the best ka V1, sti, rx65[/quote]
It really depends....
I was at the dealership the other day and there was a heavily riced RX-8 in for service, stickers, vinyls, custom paint job, huge wing, even gull wing doors, when I walked by it I looked inside and...
For 300 the best you can get is an X50 and they are pretty good for suburb driving. Sometimes they are a little behind in Ka detection but not enough to worry.
Interior styling, cargo room, Mazda3 community, 263 HP, price
There really is no other car that can offer you anywhere near the combination this car can, then again I'm biased.
Most Garmin units do but you have to go to a third party site to load the locations.
Cause schools don't need money.
I wish they would have a ruling like that here. I think there is one at every red light within 5 miles of me.
My new Cobra has never let me down! The only reason you people ever get tickets with cobras is because you don't know how to use them! If you had true SKILLLZ you would ditch that crap and roll with...
A lot of car companies are switching to red/orange interior lights b/c there is less transitioning that your eyes have to do between looking at taillights and the gauges in your car. That is their...
And while were talking about patrol cars, I saw an unmarked Intrepid in Waynesville last time I was up that way.
Greensboro police have an annoying tendency to sit in their all black cars at night...
Haven't been on much lately, just noticed this new part of the forum. I'm from Raleigh, but I go to Greensboro, Asheville, Charlotte, and Chapel Hill regularly.
Wow... just wow...
City from my experience does not just affect X. It also slightly reduces sensitivity of Ka and probably K. I noticed this while I did about seven passes in both city and highway of a LEO shooting...
Reset it: Press the Front Mute Button, Dim, and Mode while powering it on.
This is assuming you have a X50, 9500is never display it.
Personally I run it on Spec mode. Then it is easy to find out if an X alert is real, especially on I40.

Personally I use Spec mode on the highway and Exp in the city.

with the information ive been given im thinking i should get a hardwire set up that has a fuse in it (just in case). to make it easier i was thinking about the...
I would go with the Bel IMO. Check out http://guysoflidar.com/march-2007/radar-detector-test.html for the latest tests. Also I know it is easy to hardwire it to the sunroof and if you have the side...
The X50 is a good detector and so is the Bell. Honestly I would get the Bell if I were you and upgrade in a few years.
