At over $150 for the Cheeta solution, I have to say that there must be a better cheaper solution. At this rate I could fabricate a tape player to start playing back alerts powered through a relay...
Nothing usable yet. Lots of people suggesting adding a buzzer, but that's not what I need.
That's what I need, and audio tone generator, but not a buzzer or piezo.
I need to feed an audio signal into my intercom. Normal piezo or buzzers cannot be heard on a motorcycle going 80mph...
Yep, I could do that, but I want to keep my Escort in the secure, waterproof lockable glove compartment on my bike.
Converting audio mute signal to real audio signal?
I went around with this question before, with no usable results, so I will post it again.
Has anyone got an easy way to convert the audio...

I just have the HARD receiver mounted with velcro to the back of my helmet. While I would prefer to have it hidden and waterproof, I am not a big fan of inserting a box into the foam of the helmet.
I guess I could cut a window in my windshield, that would put alot of wind, grit and possible water spray into my cockpit. Depends on how accurate I can get with a dremel.
I have a question about Blinder head mounting on a motorcycle, can I mount the front sending unit on my dash shelf and shoot through my windshield?
I have a sport touring bike with a big...

One good thing about the Autocom systems is that the wiring is pretty clear. I have most of the Autocom system and AudioBox priority box all inside a Nestle's Quik container under my seat behind my...
I have my CB attached to a Firestik NGP antenna and still have crappy range. Maybe 2 miles effective. I have balanced the antenna myself with an SWR meter, was hard to get a good SWR reading with my...
All Autocom brand. Go to www.autocomamerica.com and price it out. After you have a heart attack, you will most likely find a vendor willing to knock 10% off the price.
I dicked around trying to...
I have both the HARD and the Autocom ProM1 hooked up to my Escort 8500. I even have the remote Escort indicator. All mounted on my bike. The Escort remains locked in the plastic glove box. Receives...
IMHO, Autocom is the best motorcycle intercom system out there. I have two ProM1 units working flawlessly.
Combined with a Steve McCracken Audiobox, you can prioritize 5 audio inputs into your...
CBs are okay for sport touring and touring bikes. Use an Autocom system to integrate seamlessly.
Problem is, that most hand held CBs don't have the range to talk with truckers on the road, and...
Is there a way to get an audio signal into my bike's intercom system from the Blinder unit?
I wear earplugs and a full face helmet. Autocom puts all my audio sources into my ears.
Okay, I will be installing a Blinder M20 on one of my bikes soon, a Kawi Concours. Sport touring bike, with a big aftermarket windshield.
Never had a jammer before, just made up my mind to get one...
Yep, just go to legalspeeding.com
Keep in mind that there are two versions of transmitters, the old single battery, and the new double battery. You should get the same type transmitter as you...
