MIO C310 will allow user to set speeding tolerance as a percentage or mph from -10 to 100. Pretty cool for 100 bucks. Go here for more tips. GpsPasSion Forums - Mio AIO Forums - www.mionav.com
That is too easy. V1 for the highway. X50 for the city. RX65 because you just
gotta have em all.
Let me add "Great customer service". If you need help, Leon is there for ya!! 8)
I have also learned about self cal the hard way. My older VW's battery was very weak and as a result would throw self cals on perfectly good detectors.
Serial numbers starting with "C" show version 5.6 8)
I have only had one instance where an 8500 nonX50 showed self cal and service required. Turned out it was low voltage from the car battery. On the bench she came back to life with no apparent...
V1 does it again! After losing my V1 to a burglary  , I contacted them with the serial number. Here is their response.

Bel 985 rules :x Invert display, wide/narrow ka, band select , city all, V meter, and a great tutorial mode to impress your friends. BTW check out the old GOL testing the V985 against the "big...
What version is your 955 ? Press City and BRT while powering up.
Nice vids. "King of the Hill" doesn't say much, but when it speaks you better take heed 8)
Get both, V1 for the open road and X50 for around the town :D BTW that would make you an official fanatic.
Let's not forget the "scanning dot" and expert meter. 8)
I have both(RX65 Ver 4.5) and am impressed with the v955 Ver 6.3 for the price as well as City Nox performance.
Lake County uses Ka and K band units. The Village of Fox Lake uses Talon 35.5 ka in there old "blue/white" and 34.7 ka in the new old school "black/white".
Try both. If you get too many false alerts with pop on then you may as well turn it off as opposed to becoming immune to the alerts.
Try Highway and then CNX after you are used to the alerts.
Just got my hands on a v955 ver 6.3 for testing.
1) Great build quality and user friendly controls.
2) JTW's laser tester set it off at a greater distance than my RX65 ver 4.5.
3) Visual...
How good is the filtering on the 955??
This Walgreens is not new(at least 15yrs old). Maybe they will all change over?
Hope they all go that direction 8)
What is the filtering like on the 955. Range is great but what about falses?
