Okay, sounds good. I just put the HID's in at the same time as the LI so they're fairly new. I'm not sure if I replaced them if they would leak any less or if the quality of the ballast I got may be...

This is true. I have been hit with LIDAR from the rear in GA, 4am in the morning, from an overpass.
HP is overkill. The standard kit will work well enough on that vehicle. 2 standard heads in...
What do you mean? compared to the LI? From my research the HP-905 performs at least as well as the LI if not better. The size of the heads is also a concern as I dont have much mounting room on...
You can get them from radarbusters. My only concern is you will be spending more money for a lesser performing product. Why?
No. You likely could still find them though. I'd buy an LI and be done with it. Its been almost 6 years and they are still the best. Too many new lidar threats out there to take chances.
I'm a lil lost. When did they start selling $39 smart cords for androids and iphones?
Exactly!
Cool. Enjoy and Happy safe motoring.
No sir, I am not talking about the HP LI. Standard LI vs HP905 is what I was referring to. Knowing the track record and documented performance of both models, and not to mention they are similarly...
I wasn't using a jammer. I was operating the gun.
Perhaps the officer(s) were shooting in the same direction you were traveling (away from you).. Some radar units are also harder to detect than others.
I am not a fan of having anything...
Some will say dont run both units up front because they may cross talk and screw things up. Others will say they have used multiple units at the same time without issue.
I will say that with the LI...
Turn the bubble level 90 Degrees so that they overhang the sensor. It is FAR more important to ensure the sensors are level in that direction. Also, great performance against 1 gun means you've done...
Spanky, we tested your motorcycle with the Truspeed, I believe that helmet of yours was a problem.. :)
I'm not sure why anyone would ask this question. Its not like the difference between Antilaser and LPP. There is a massive price difference between those two with near identical performance.

MK6 Jettas and Golfs/GTIs are very easy to work on. I'd say 2-4 hours for a dual front head install. The rear of the car could add anywhere from 2-3 more hours depending on car and installer...
Cliff raises a good point. I had to send mine in for warranty just a few weeks ago. Doesn't leave the warm fuzzies in my tummy about a $500? detector, less than a year old...
You wont find a better price on the net. that's approaching wholesale.. I also support the Magnum.
1. The remote setups are removable. Why do you believe they must be permanently mounted? A skilled installer should be able to mount the unit without causing damage/permanent alteration, if that is...
Nasty stuff...
1. No auto shut off.
2. Concealed shifters are useless.[/QUOTE]
1. So is it only the Blinder setup that has the auto shut off feature?
2. How so? Aren't the sifters, diffusers, jammers, whatever...
Did you receive it? If so, updates?
That's cold bro!
Does your user name signify that you drive a BMW? If so, does it have radar guided cruise control? And if it does, is it on or in use during your commute?
Also, does your new detector have TSR...
