Thanks. Great photos by the way. I came upon your thread after posting mine. The differences between the regular and HP head are interesting.
I took some photos of the LI head via an older digital camera of mine that I use to take IR photos. You can just make out the receptor sensor (under the fisheye collector) and the emitter. I thought...
I can also confirm that my 9500Ci (and previously my 9500ix) also had trouble with I/O K-band. By trouble I mean, no sign of warning... My V1 had no such trouble identifying I/O.
Very...
o2bad455: If I understand what you are eluding to, you would also need a calibration certificate as to the accuracy of your STi.
Since the STi doesn't have any such certificates that are...
DJ: That Veil job looks amazing. Good show!
Are you also counting:
- Police motorcycles
- Dodge Hemi Charger Police Vehicles
- Police Helicopter
- Police spotter planes
Just playing Devil's Advocate here, but jamming speed measuring...
I would consider it. Why. I don't believe in overkill. :)
However, if the longevity of the high power LI heads were less than that of the "regular" power version, then probably not. I make the...
Welcome murphy!
To answer your question: Yes, you can use the V1 plug on your 9500ix.
The 9500ix will definitely help you in Photo Radar ridden Alberta! Are you an Oilers fan or a Flames fan?
category4: Nice car and nice choice of countermeasures. Now, your choice in vehicle color doesn't exactly say stealthy... Can't win them all ;)
Salespeople often tell you anything they think you wish to hear... Unless he/she is:
a) a RD net enthusiast,
b) realizes that Bel and Escort are one in the same company,
c) has both units, and...
There is a form (small green declaration card) you have to fill out before sending ANYTHING back to the USA (or carrying it across the border). You bring the item(s) in this case your STI-R stuff...
Thanks for the updated link Obsidian!
radar retard: Nice install. I think your install contradicts your user name LOL... ;)
Definitely. It keeps things "real" as well. It weeds out the smart RD user from the ones who think that they are invincible.
+1. I've encounted this as well. I find that some big rigs also trigger a laser false.
IO is much deadlier than laser IMHO, especially when used by the experienced LEO. This is especially true if you are the only vehicle on the road at the time. The IO lock can be obtained in well...
No problem. Glad to be of help! :)
Mine is also quite loud, especially mounted high beside the RVM. I have no complaints about the alert volume from the V1.
Quite frankly, of all the velcro-style fasteners I've tried, 3M Dual Lock is by far the best in terms of holding power and repeatibility. Perhaps you should try the lower profile version of 3M Dual...
+1 Veil G4 Performace
-1 For UFOs (tires, rocks, animals, or other...)
Sorry to hear about your mishap.
How many coats of Veil did you apply DJ? Foam brush application or ?
Nice install languy99!
Now get someone to help you test it!
Best to go by phone. It's much faster.
Interesting tests Mem-Tek. Well, I'm very intersted anyways... :)
Great minds think alike? :)
Scott: Did the Plasti Dip bond well with the plastic? Any issues?
+1
So true. Economy of scale. Then again, probably only true RD enthusiasts know that Escort and Bel are one in the same company...
