if you have the smartcord then you wont be able to change modes or enter programing
it can also alert you to get off at the next exit ;)
if it was me id use a X50 in jersey because with all the x-band falses, the expert mode feature can really shine. if you do mostly highway driving then the v1 is for you, i just cant imagine using a...
The instant locktone for that is invigorating :)
That's an understatement of the highest order.
And when you hear that sound you drop from 20 over to the PSL in about...
Or 35.5
I don't want to nag but if the LEO is able to get a speed reading then that wouldn't be off-axis it would be forward facing
yes sometimes my rear antenna is more sensitive; when i first got my v1 i thought that this was the case
unless you have x-band enabled and no k-band automute
they make up for it with all the accessories that comes with it
Thats a very good point. It is also why, when driving at night and there is very light to almost nonexistent traffic, I always keep my speed well within 10 of the PSL.
this has been a rule...

on the way to work today i got brief Ka alerts from the rear that came on every 30 seconds or so. a few miles further the signal became constant from the rear with about half strength. i turned down...
amen to that
its a good thing to know that even with the best defense you can still get nailed; at times you can to push the limit, but its best to do it as least as possible(unless theres a big group of cars or...
it is off by default.
if the x50 is falsing on pop then it is definitely turned on, so your friend must have turned it on at some point
ah ha heres that info i found
the same thing happend to me in MI on I-696 with my x50 and i thought it was strange since i have not seen 34.7 at all. there was a thread about this and i think it was some kind of mounted radar...
my v1 is also a whore for KA, but its seems to like walgreens, rite-aid, bestbuy, and walmart just as much... :(
until you said best buy i would have thought your v1 had a drug problem ...
