Just out of curiosity......how is the laser detection on the STi? I only got a few laser falses when I had my Sti....but how is it against legitimate lidar? I know that once your RD starts screaming...

Great review as usual mem-tek. Looks like i'll be purchasing another STi in the very near future. I just can't see myself using any other RD.

Not really but isn't is essentialy the same thing as a 9500i just branded with the Beltronics logo? Unless it has noticebly better detection range.

This is true....however i just need some filtering just so its not extremely chatty like the V1. I don't really like over-complicated devices such as RD because I believe they should just be simple...

Thanks for all the quick replies. I have used a V1 before, and it's just a little too chatty for me (also i really love spec mode. to see the requency).

Guys I got my STi stolen a few months ago, and I really need to buy a new detector. I'm aware of the new ramp up fix which is absolutely fantastic. The STi appears to have everything in order...

So your saying once I get used to it, the ramp up will be fine? It just takes some time getting used to, or is it truly sucky? I'm now a bit skeptical about this new ramp up.
