dude, i knew my RD and LJ were compromising something.
no, just a rare genetic case of hyperpigmentosis. at least that's what she says.

nice install. i was worried about how recessed they were but looks like your field testing held up well.
Looking at all those parameters, I guess my 9500ix is a black box of magic.
If that were true, it would be touted endlessly in Escort's marketing literature.
A much more likely explanation is that the firmware is buggy. ;)[/quote]
i've found it interesting how i'm...
x2. i have had speed signs unlocked when they were off.
dude, this question sound a little to complex for an audio/stereo newb like me.
i needed the Mix-It2 since I was feeding my multiple devices into a single aux input. if a switcher isolates the...
placebo? :)
well, it's definitely going to be fun playing with the speed alert database when the weather warms up and i get out more.
i've had my eye on that. can't wait to see it in action. don't think it records audio if it's the one i'm thinking about.
i don't get to drive much, so i'm trying to picture using the speed trap alerts or even Trapster, slowing down everytime it goes off (otherwise what's the point) and then feeling psychologically...
Just got an email about a new Defender national speed trap database. I stopped using the RLC database, but this has piqued my interests. I'm still ambivalent about how practical and reliable these...
hold down the sen-mute-brt buttons all down at the same time. keep them all down while hitting the power on button. you should see "erase?" prompt. then press the gps button for yes. that's how...
well, i'm installing .net 3.5 SP1 now because i can't help myself.
EDIT: it seems to work!
man i should have waited. i uninstalled my computer's original .net 2.0 to install the one that came with detector 1.3.
This is so confusing. I'm a mac guy who used to be a pc guy before windows 2000 and now I got a eee pc 1000h that came preloaded with XP. Did I cause potential trouble by uninstalling the original...
I hate the GPS signal lost/acquired voice prompt. It gets really annoying.
A "hard-reset" (sen-mute-brt buttons while powering up and then gps button for yes to erase) will wipe out lockouts. A "soft-reset" by just hitting the sen and brt buttons while powering up will not...
Now I have to finally get around to using the software. While I'm happy with the fix, I would be even more impressed if Escort actually emailed me a notification as they promised instead of having...
No more golden silence for me. After I regrettably upgraded my 9500i to the ix, the copious RLC alerts have been annoying in the NYC area, and I can't keep the RLC camera alerts setting off.
well escort customer support well email me when they have a fix. also, i've been noticing my old truelocked locations are getting to agressively auto-unlearned. :( kinda of disturbs the quiet...
After I turn off the RLC alerts in the menu, it does not stay off after I power down and turn back on the radar detector. Annoying. Mine is a red 9500i upgraded to a 9500ix.
I agree it's a dyck move, but I do find it hilarious. I wouldn't mind lighting up some spoiled brat in a red Mustang, sorry I mean Porshe, that feels entitled to cut me off. :)
arrows?
I wholeheartedly agree. I too got my units from Elvis and have had the pleasure of Cliff's top-notch support.
