Have anyone had real experiences with the CheetahPass unit? Anyone able to test this against lidars? Would be nice to know, cause so far I haven't found any tests on this one.

There are beeing used lasers every day in Norway. Radars not so much. And the radarbands you mention is correct. To my knowledge there have been discussions about how the Ku-band will come to Norway.

There is not rdd's in Norway. We have 2-3 radars that are in use, coz in Norway we use lidar. This is offical numbers. There are departments that wish to have radar instead of lidar. So Ku might come...

To my knowledge there is no RDD's in Norway. I have neither heard of or seen in it use.

And if cought with LJ or RD, then you have 5000 NOK(~1000 USD) less.

I thought V1 was immune to RDD's?

I am very curious on how often you have had an alert on your radardetectors that actually where a real one, and where. I drive a lot around Bergen, and has never had an alert that was real.

I'm from Norway, and owns a Escort 8500 and a V1. So far I've only got false alarms. But then again, radar is very rare in use. Laser is what counts. And soon the Traffipatrol XR will hit the road....

It would be really nice if they could test laserjammers against Traffipatrol XR and others that show jamcode.

I am curious about this to. Mine is used so I do not know the age for it, but I have the rev 15.

Anyone can confirm if this will show the jam code?
