Definitely worth it. I bought a used V1 about a year ago and it hasn't missed a beat.

You can't actually expect a 10 day forecast to be accurate outside of 3 or 4 days. Don't ever trust any forecast past 5 days tops.

No, it shouldn't take away from radar detection but laser may be weakened a little. (laser detection is of little importance in a RD though)

People referring to RDs as Radars is annoying, yes, but it's even more annoying the few times I've heard radar referred to as radar detectors.

I would sometimes when I ran an in car camera but not anymore. However, if I get a new detector, I may do a little speed trap crashing. ;)

YES! I have an 03 F-150 and I could NEVER get my 9500IX level. I now run a V1, and it's a little better because it has a better mount, but still a PITA to get level! IDK what it is with the Ford...
