I like the lip on Redline, as I can grasp it w/o worrying about pulling it off windshield, thumb - below for support. I also memorized the programming order, though that takes awhile.[/QUOTE]

Its an all or nothing thing, sounds like your fine.
Apparently Escort didn't explain them selves fast enough to everyone. Looks like Escort is going to analyze the recent big update from speedtrapusa.com to slim down the amount of bogus speed traps...

The lock out radius is 1/2mi, sounds like you may have made the radius bigger by leaving the...
Don't you mean you design a product and someone else actually makes it preform superior? If not, you are truly a lucky engineer with a talent most engineers do not have.
Yea but according to some woman i spoke to at escort, she said that it was totally removed? Thats what im trying to figure out. Only because my RD is not showing any speed traps that are on...
Yes. Check out Atticus' video under that section. :-) MA Staties on I90 close Agawam (Six Flags: NE) The video below is some youtube random video.

X2, Escort by far has a more loyal a customer base, selling easily 30 to 1. Even if 1/2 of Escorts customers go another direction Escort would still surpass VR's small customer base of loyalty. No...
I tested a V1 once to see if it picked up cops not running radar or laser, but it failed miserably. lol
I hate to be negative or just crazy but as anyone ever encountered K band QT? Probably never.
Lets all email him!
Escort filters the speed traps to a higher level so not to have so many BS speed traps with LEO's that sit once a month or week. The defender database uses information/confirmation from other Escort...
The rear shifter on the ZR4 is much bigger then the 2 front, about the size of the 2 front shifters put together. Not that it does any better but that's the way it was designed, also designed to fit...
Nice install. But a bit ugly with all that stuff sticking out so far.
Most places i checked for a quad install quote about $600 usually takes about 4-6 hours. Anything less than that is a steal,...
X2, it can also kill your RD if shot at point blank range. Love how people buy a new toy and kill it with another toy. lol

Yup looks like the 9500ix is working normal, just not...
X2, always impressive and completely truthful and logical.
Ok than why test in the first place if your not going to try to do something about it? Why bother in the first place? Just don’t get why you put so much work to prove something but stop just before...
Wow, very cool. I was seriously looking into getting an .872 and now it seems like it may be time. i wonder if the next version will confirm what has been seen.
Ok, totally understand and agree as a non enthusiast. But please take no offence to my well known saying/quote. They are well known for a reason::)
If your not part of the solution your part of...
Welcome, lots of info here.
X2, if its not updated it wont have the most recent locations.
Someone should have tried to send it back and see if they could have fixed it...:banghead:
Come on guys don’t just set the house on fire and run. You got to see the pretty lights as it burns down......
That’s a tuff but easy one. If your #1 priority is every bit of sensitivity and fast alerting V1.
If your #1 priority is a less annoying RD with less falses and notification of speed traps 9500ix.
I would assume because its a permanent magnet it should never loose its magnetism. I would be more concerned about it scratching the roof.
So is this thing terrible, awsome with a small/big glitch, issue with all units, an oddity? Could it be any other factors?
