Well it's not worth the $60 they would charge to look at it. Looks like an easy fix on the button...

My 955 works fine, but the button on top that holds the windshield mount is acting up and not catching on the bracket.

I removed the 1 screw and front screen, but there is still something...

Used Bel 940, 960, or 985...I prefer the 985 due to more programming options. Any of those for less than $100 on Ebay. I've had my 985 for 2 yrs...cost me $65 shipped!!

Will they still work on the 940/960/985 series?

Laser is big in Austin on 35...I'd get the V1...

V1's - indestructable

Bel / Escort - very sensitive, Escort's "paint" scratches and chips too easily too

I've bought hundreds of RD's on Ebay and have had problems with maybe 6-8 (all Bel or Escort). Some of those were misrepresented by the seller, other times they were packed well and needed...

Yep, Northlake (near TMS) is BAD. They've got a Z28, Intrepid, Caprice wagon, and a Tahoe. All dark colors with dark letters and nothing on the roof (Caprice might?). If it weren't for writing...

I drive from Ft Worth to Denton every day and I've had x-band off for 4 yrs with no problems...

Ft Worth ISD has them on most of their buses...VERY annoying.
